QuickFill Privacy Policy

QuickFill is a Chrome extension that helps you fill web forms automatically using saved profiles. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is handled.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. QuickFill does not have any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. We do not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history, form data, or any personal information to any server.

Data Stored on Your Device

All data you create in QuickFill (profiles, settings, license key) is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• Profile data (names, emails, addresses, etc.): Stored in chrome.storage.local for free users, and chrome.storage.sync for Pro users (synced across devices via your Google Account).
• Usage data (daily fill count): Stored in chrome.storage.local, used only to enforce free version daily limits.
• License key: Stored in chrome.storage.sync for Pro users, so it syncs across your devices.

None of this data is sent to our servers. Chrome's sync feature uses Google's encrypted infrastructure, which we do not control or access.

Permissions We Use

• storage: To save your profiles, usage data, and license key locally or via Chrome sync.
• activeTab: To access the current tab when you click the extension icon, allowing form detection and filling.

We do not request: browsing history, tabs, cookies, webRequest, or broad host permissions.

Third-Party Services

• Creem: Used only for License Key validation when you activate Pro. Your License Key is sent to Creem's API for verification. No other data is shared. See Creem's Privacy Policy.
• Google Chrome Sync: If you are a Pro user and logged into Chrome, your profiles sync via Google's encrypted infrastructure. See Google's Privacy Policy.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use cookies or tracking pixels.
• We do not access, read, or store the content of forms you fill.
• We do not inject advertisements.
• We do not use cloud servers to store your profile data.

Data Deletion

You can delete all QuickFill data at any time by removing the extension from Chrome. This will permanently delete all profiles, usage data, and license information from your local storage. Synced data will also be removed from Chrome sync.

Children's Privacy

QuickFill is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
